Caroler

My new years resolution was to make 50 softies so from here on out... they will be numbered.  This Caroler is #2.  You'll find #1 here.  I love getting a head start on things.  It is helpful that business has been slow for the past couple of days and also hubby hasn't had to work.  I took advantage of the free time and made a project that I'd been wanting to make for myself.
I'd found a tutorial on the Gingercake blog that I just thought was so sweet that I knew I had to do it.  I printed it out and of course, didn't get it done before Christmas like I'd originally planned.
but since the Christmas decor is still up, its not too late, right?  So, I sewed up 2 of these little sweeties.  I made them with some upholstry irreregulars that I'd brought home from trash to treasure and stuffed them with plastic shopping bags so they are a very "green" craft.  One of the Carolers is still unstuffed because, for the first time in my adult life, I don't have a huge stash of plastic bags!  She will have to wait until next week.  You can find the great free tutorial here and also check out Gingercake's flickr group here.
